Hand
The evening has not been all
it might have been disappointment
hangs in the air
the moment itself seems to yawn
I'm out of tricks
but
still we play cards
you smile, knowing you have an unbeatable hand
I
bluff, knowing full well
you won't buy it
but I am, as always, killing
Time
-but Time won't die
the table awaits no supper
I pull up another
card
but it's no winner
the shadows are watching
the ceiling looks down
on our hands
I wish I could throw away the cards
-a Joker flying
straight in your face-
I'd cry,"it's not a game!"
you smile and hold
your cards
close to your chest
the evening is not getting younger
but it
looks like we'll be here
a long, long Time,
me playing for Time
you
playing with Time
holding and smiling
as if to say,
"I've got you
right where I want you. We're going nowhere.
Let's go there together
and
we'll find out who the real winner is...."
the room's emptiness spreads
all about
casting a blanket on all and
catching no
one's
breath....

Ahhhh! what a evening it was;
music environing my heart and soul.
Piano was played by dainty hands;
a touch so smooth, arms up and down with care.
The music truly consuming the hall;
no wonder people in old times, fell in love at ball.
Aesthetically pleasing music it was to ears;
but watching the pianist was also inspiring to my vision!
Taking the breath and stretching her back;
then a swift thrust forward;
traces covering her neck.
The caresses on piano of the fingers so soft,
producing the music if you can bear it so strong!
A little move forward and little backward she made,
but what an elegant form she played all well!
The greatest composers were little crazy,
the ecstasy of beautiful music is very compelling!
Oh God, I urge three provide me means of learning,
I surely don’t want to die ‘Piano Virgin’!!!
