DREAM - By Navarro, Chino Jose

DREAM

Lets all look up into the sky and dream
See that everything as not as it may seem
Look left and right and see it all mine
Mine to take and as I diligently try to find
The path that sets my course to the direction
When I see myself as in my imagination
The king of the world right here on earth
No certain fate is given to us since birth
We make the rules and the opportunities
And take everything as an exciting challenge
That would release us from all these bondage
As we all were destined to fly high in the sky
All we have to do is, be sure to give it a try
As we finally see a sudden glimpse of light
We know that we are now a step away from bliss
A transition into reality of our heart felt dreams

Wonder - By Jennifer Wood

Wonder

How can the outside world be so beautiful.
When my life is in peril.

How can I be called beautiful.
When I feel ugly inside.

How can their be light.
When I am in the dark.

How can I put up this protective wall up.
When I want to curl up and cry.

How can you still love me.
When I don't love you back.

What good things do you see in me.
When I can't see any of it.

Going Home - By Lanny Wafer

Going Home

The time and the beat of the song once written.
When I first met her at the door I was smitten.
She’s the only one I love till the day I die.
She is the only thing now that makes me smile.
It’s her smarts it’s her heart she loves me too.
Overcome the past is what well do.
And when I get back I will work everyday.
To prove that I love her in every single way,
To warm the room of any cold.
and stay forever till we grow old.

The Old Lady at the Door - By Lanny Wafer

The Old Lady at the Door

Tired again, I searched from door to door.
Hoping she would be there.
I knew I’d know her
when I saw Her eyes, her face, her hair
I came to a door that was ragged and worn
With a note “to thine own self be true”
It seemed out of place but what the heck
I still had to find you,,,
A little old lady came to the door,
as slowly she opened and peered‘
The person you seek is long gone my son
But you see she was once here’
Am I late? Did I miss her? Why did I not know?
So she was the one I missed at night,
when I slept all alone
“The reason you missed her love and her kiss
was as simple as this rose”
She handed me a fragile flower through the gaping door
Wrapped tenderly in a sheet, not a wrinkle not a stain
Focus on one flower, through love, and joy and pain.
The world is such an awesome place,
with many hearts to steal
Wait for the one that you really love,
and you will know it’s real.
I left the house with my new gift,
stronger than before
Because I heard my future lover,
the old lady at the door.
